Rev Dr Samuel Royappa
Rev. Dr. Sam Royappa is a retired ordained clergy of the United Methodist Church, with a distinguished
42-year ministry spanning both India and the United States. Over the course of his career, he has faithfully served as an evangelist, pastor, District Superintendent, Director of Connectional Ministries, and church consultant.
Following his formal retirement from the UMC in January 2024, Dr. Royappa and his family have been actively assisting The Living Water Church in Sun Prairie.
Dr. Royappa completed his Bachelor of Divinity (BD) at Union Biblical Seminary in Yavatmal, India, and earned his Doctorate (D.Min) at Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky.
Dr. Royappa and his wife, Mrs. Shanti Samuel, are blessed with three children, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren. They have been residing in Wisconsin since 2000.
His ministry gifts include preaching, teaching, equipping laity, counseling, mentoring, evangelism, and expertise in church polity and systems.
